JOHANNA HAYS, PsyD

Johanna Hays is a depth-oriented psychologist, specializing in trauma through the protocols of Somatic Experiencing, Brainspotting, and clinical hyponotherapy.

Johanna began working in the ceramic arts two years ago, and is a member of the Old Ironworks Artist Cooperative in Bend, Oregon. She currently splits her time between California and Oregon.

Moments of Peace

This piece came about through a communication of sorts between myself and the clay. My works evolves through the process of asking Creativity what it is wanting to say. The movement and flow of the long pieces are paused by the discovery of the pearls, allowing a gap between flow and insight.
