DEBORAH BRYON, PhD
Deborah Bryon has a BA in psychology from UCLA and a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Denver. She is member of International Association of Jungian Analysts (IAAP) and Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts (IRSJA), chairperson of the dream exam and member of a candidate review committee for IRSJA. Deborah is in private practice, has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals, two books on Andean shamanism, and currently has a book in press with Routledge entitled, “Time and Trauma in Analytical Psychology and Psychotherapy: The Wisdom of Andean Shamanism.”

Undefined, layered interior spaces have become a welcome retreat from the intensity of the current collective climate. Many of us our longing for spaces of refuge to decompress and breathe, psychic places removed from the roar of political and social media, that are not black and white polarizations, that can hold subtle nuance. This body of work is my personal exploration into these areas, beyond words and symbols – my own search for peaceful sanctuary.
