ARTEMIS TSERIOTOU, BSc Psychology (Honours), undertaking MSc Clinical Psychology (Applied)
I have been drawing everywhere since I was 3 years old (on paper, boards, under tables, chairs and beds, even on a painting at home which I was not supposed to). I am currently a Trainee Clinical Psychologist in Nicosia. I am from Cyprus, studied Fine Art in the UK and changed my route to Psychology. I did my Bachelor's in London and returned back to Cyprus to do my masters in Applied Clinical Psychology. My interests include Developmental Psychology, Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents, Art Therapy of any type of art (music, drama, painting etc). I consider art a form of expression, relief, sublimation and a therapeutic outlet.
Περσεφόνη - Persephone
(Art Video)
with George (Souria Mountra) BA Chroma Therapy
This art work was inspired by me and Giorgos, from Persephone, the ancient Greek goddess of spring. She was Demetras' daughter with Zeus, and then wife of Hades who abducted her taking her to the underworld. She was temporarily returning to the surface. Will you believe and continue with Persephone's narrative and this variation of mythology, or create your own?
