During quarantine, making collages transported me out of confinement and isolation into new landscapes, real and imagined. The process of recombining images mirrors the integration of multiple self states and reaches for play as primary ingredient in expression, communication, and healing.

On My Mind

This paper collage entitled, “On My Mind” reflects the anxieties we carry, the mental “loads” that provide ballast and grounding as well as sometimes unbearable weight.
