Pared de Graffiti (Graffiti Wall, 2024)
(Limited Edition Color Print 19” x 15 1/2”, The original artwork is an extended photographic collage with colored pencil markings.)
The City of Richmond, VA, is the center of an active graffiti art movement, similar to the explosion of wonderful and innovative graffiti found in many towns and cities around the world. Empty walls and spaces are the canvasses for the newer generations of artists. The photographs were taken in various cities in Europe and assembled into a collage with assorted papers collected in Europe, and then marks and drawnings with colored pencils were added to suggest the inspiration of the graffiti influence.
