Pour your heart out
(acyrlic on paper)
Artists make the world beautiful by pouring their life energies into it. The painter, in particular, rarely gets to feel the appreciation of the audience as maybe an actor could hear the applause of a crowd. A singer knows their work is good by the sales of their albums or attendance at their shows. The painter, for the most part, never hears a word from a patron about their work. It is not that common for painted works to sell at a typical show. So the pouring out of one's heart is a true gift to others.
