The attorney called to tell me that the client he had referred to me for evaluation on a civil rights case had been murdered by an unknown assailant while riding his bicycle. I hadn’t done much in the way of art in the past year, being busy working through the pandemic. Sometimes having a support system isn’t enough. In those times I tend to make art.
