This piece began as an essay presentation for a course in Cultural Psychology for the Pacifica Graduate Institute’s Ph.D. in Depth Psychology, specialization in Integrative Therapy and Healing Practices in early Spring 2020, as COVID-19 pandemic was taking off and taking over the nation and world. The artist then choreographed the piece with hand- movements that related to its content. This piece attempts to channel the archetype of Renaissance in order to balance the obvious force of Revolución within this monumental year for the world, and more specifically for the re-birth of a nation of these United States.
